'Hamsa' - the Swan is a symbol of purity, serenity and bliss and 'Vaahini' refers to a channel or anything that flows. Together, the name 'HamsaVaahini' refers to Goddess Sharadamba, the one whose vaahanam is a hamsa. The word Hamsa was also included as obeisance to Sri Venugopala Swamy at Hamsaladeevi.
The channel aims to bring to the fore the diverse facets of Sanathana Dharma in the form of music, art, discourses, divine chantings, and also updates of Hamsaldeevi related activities and so on.
