Hello friends, it’s been a while since I posted here — life has a way of keeping us busy, doesn’t it?

Today, though, I’m excited to share something new.
We’ve been working on a newsletter where I’ll share things I’ve learned, things I’m still working through, and a bunch of other good stuff.

If you’d like to hear from me directly — more personal, more real — you can sign up here: mailchi.mp/319e4f62dc6b/t9n6rlhcbc.

Hope to see you inside!

Hello guys,

Thanks for your questions for the Q&A. I am working on the video as I speak, but before that, tomorrow, I'm dropping a new video talking about another subject that matters to me apart from baking; I can't wait for you to see it ✌️🏾🫶🏾

A friend sent a page that made croissant Rusks with their leftovers, so I thought that was Genius. I looked at my products, and cinnamon buns were at the top of the list, so I decided to save two to try. The results were pretty good 👍🏾 I suggest you give it a go.
Here’s how:

I baked the buns, cooled them, cut them into small chunks, and baked them at 170 for 20 minutes until golden brown. I turned them over and baked them for another 5 minutes if needed.

Keep on checking. Your oven might be hotter than mine 🧡.

Happy baking.

Today, I launched a new pop-up location. I felt nervous, but I believed that people would come out to support me. Here’s what I learned:

I was in this community back in 2021. When I started, I delivered in this area weekly, and that experience gave me the confidence to do it again now, but as a new model, not delivery. It was good to see the smiles 😁 I used to get when they received warm bread 🍞.

That convenient delivery and excellent product and service in 2021 pay off in today's sales 💰.

More in next week's videos. ✌️🏾

5️⃣ simple yet powerful ways to build unwavering customer loyalty:

1️⃣ Consistently Deliver High-Quality Products
The foundation of loyalty is built on quality. make your product stand out. Whether it's using the finest ingredients or ensuring freshness, customers know when they're getting something special. A high standard isn't just appreciated; it's expected. When your customers trust that every time they purchase, they're getting something of value, they'll keep coming back for
more.

2️⃣ Ask for Feedback and Act on It
Customers want to know that their opinions matter. So, make sure you're checking in with them regularly to hear their thoughts. Did they enjoy the product? Is there anything they wish you'd do differently? And if they have a special request, go the extra mile to deliver it. Those small details are what make customers feel heard and appreciated. After all, wouldn't you love that extra attention? It's the little things that make all the difference.

3️⃣ Leverage Social Media to Connect
In today's digital world, social media is a goldmine for building customer loyalty. Share behind-the-scenes content that shows how much care goes into your products. Whether it's twisting cinnamon buns or flipping dough, customers love seeing the magic behind the scenes. If you're camera-shy, don't worry! Start with simple videos, add music, and as you get comfortable, try adding voiceovers. Remember, it's all about connecting with your audience, and the more genuine you are, the stronger the bond.

4️⃣ Surprise and Delight Your Customers
Everyone loves a surprise, especially when it's a small gesture of appreciation. Every now and then, surprise a loyal customer with a free sample or a little treat: It doesn't have to be big, but that unexpected kindness goes a long way in making someone's day. These moments of joy not only strengthen the relationship, but they also turn a customer into a lifelong supporter.

5️⃣ Be Authentic and Transparent
People don't just buy products they buy into the story behind them. Share your journey with your customers. Let them in on the "why" behind what you do. How did you start? What are your values? What drives your passion? Customers feel more connected to businesses when they understand the heart and soul behind them. Transparency and authenticity are the building blocks of trust and trust is what turns customers into loyal fans.
Building customer loyalty isn't an overnight process, but with dedication and attention to the small details, it will pay off. In the end, the time you invest in nurturing relationships will be what leads to long-term success. Loyal customers aren't just repeat buyers they're your champions, your brand ambassadors, and your business's biggest supporters. Keep them happy, and they'll keep coming back.

Its hard to believe that exactly 4 years ago I was working in a warehouse picking and packing clothes - and I started @leo.thebaker with nothing but a bag of supermarket flour and our home oven! CRAZY that I'm about to launch my first recipe e-book on Monday 📖

It took me 3 years to perfect the core products that sell out at every market stall, every week. (I’m so grateful to my loyal customers that show up every week and support me).

And these are the recipes I wanted to share in my first e-book. The mission is to help more micro-bakers to ‘bake & serve’ great products in their own communities 🙏🏾

Let's GO, Leo 🫶🏾
