Hello everyone! Just letting you know that I am working on C0, C1 and C2 Citlali team comparisons along with Yoimiya's other teams (a guide video)! In the meantime, I am also going to include my personal Yoimiya team tierlist. Thanks Stark and MinhThang for lending their accounts so this video is possible to make!
If you want to ask about my reasons for each team placement or how good is a team that is not mentioned here, let me know!

So... I see that lots of players, from casual guidemakers to theorycrafters, have been recommending SOLO HYDRO Furina teams for Yoimiya lately. Just want to say, that in my opinion and experience, solo hydro Furina teams are NOT good for Yoimiya (feel free to test this out yourself, please compare it with other Yoi teams). These are my reasons:
1. Furina has inconsistent intervals on her hydro app, because her pets have different intervals of attacks. You can have too much or too low hydro app at a time, which can affect swirling or scrolling. Yoimiya will easily mess up her vape patterns with this team.
2. Furina's hydro app is uncontrollable with normal attacks, unlike Yelan and Xingqiu. This is bad on multiwave scenarios. Tbf some CCs pointed this out already, still not justifying this team as a good pick
3. Even IF you use this on boss chambers instead of multiwave, waiting for Furina just to apply hydro before Yoimiya attacks already slows down her team rotation. This affects your DPS window, especially if you are playing shieldless. Yoimiya can do 3N5 shieldless if you have fast rotations and good openings without needing to wait for enemy aura. Slow paced team like this really limits Yoimiya's potential.
4. Needing to wait for aura just to attack means that you are PUNISHED for optimizing Yoimiya (RR cancels)
5. Furina is a teamwide buffer sub DPS. To optimize her, it's better to play on teams that have more evenly spread damage contribution or more damage dealers, such as double hydro comps. On solo hydro teams, you want to focus on Yoimiya's damage more. Unless your Furina is on higher constellation, the Fanfare buff won't feel game changing at all. Also newer characters probably need Furina more than Yoimiya does.
6. I tested these teams myself (Yoi-Bennett-Furina-flex with flex slot being Xilonen, Citlali or Lanyan). Being worse than Yoimiya-Zhongli-Bennett-Yelan (Yoimiya's most basic comfort vape team) in all my attempts already tells me that this team isn't good. If these teams were any good, I would have used this team on my C0 Yoimiya showcases.
7. Yelan is just better. Deals better damage, has focused buff for onfielder on solo hydro where you focus on Yoimiya's damage anyway. Yoimiya's vape team core is Yoimiya-Bennett-Yelan-flex (you can use Xingqiu if you don't own Yelan).
8. Most players who use this (solo hydro Furina) team, don't really play Yoimiya daily to confirm the viability of these teams. Please note that I don't mean to gatekeep anyone from playing Yoimiya through this statement! What I meant by this is that the players might find this team working on their first two attempts, so they think that it's viable even without testing further on Spiral Abyss or comparing them to other standard vape teams and recommend these teams to other players. Or they probably see this team "working properly" on whales with C3 Furina on one rotation kill / nuke showcase, which is totally unrelatable for average players. On open world showcases, even players can make solo hydro Mona work for Yoimiya... but it's impractical outside nuke showcases. I hope you get this.
I just don't want to see players blaming or doomposting the DPS after putting their DPS in a dysfunctional team since it's a very common habit of Genshin players π

Happy Valentine's Day! Here's some rough Yoimiya sketch to brighten up our day!
Psssst! Anyway, there's been a rumor going around about a character that is speculated to be an Electro Bennett...!!
This character can do all of the following:
1. Buffs ATK (scales with her total ATK instead of base ATK like Bennett), but capped at six hundred ninety flat ATK at Lv. 10, eight hundred ten at Lv. 13, instead of 1k like Bennett. She only buffs ONFIELDERS. She buffs ATK through her Elemental Burst.
2. Her ATK buff value depends on her NS point total. The value reduces when she reached certain NS point threshold or less
3. To maintain her ATK buff longer at maximum amount / to maintain high NS points, she wants your character to move a lot and/or consume NS points (Natlan character). The distance recorded by this character to maintain NS points includes both vertical and horizontal movement.
4. Through her constellations, she can buff more by giving thirty percent ATK to onfielder and twenty five percent damage bonus to onfielder.
5. Can give 40% full damage bonus through Cinder set. Truly a remarkable unit!
So... how can she be useful for Yoimiya? Here are my points:
1. I think she will be optimal as Bennett's replacement on Chevreuse overload team. Thankfully, Chevreuse is a Pyro character and she is Electro too, which fits the minimum requirement for Chevreuse team. So with Yoi-Chev-Fischl, the team already activates Pyro resonance that gives 25% ATK. Outside this team, there won't be Pyro resonance for Yoimiya.
2. Yoimiya sadly does not move a lot. If anything, what makes Yoimiya pairs so well with Bennett is the fact that she can stay longest in his circle compared to other DPSes. But even then, this character is still competitive or better than Bennett in this specific team as long as she holds Cinder while Chevreuse is on Noblesse. Yes, she is THAT good.
3. This character only buffs ONFIELDER. Sadly, this is not the most ideal thing that Yoimiya could've asked for. However, thankfully Fischl SNAPSHOTS buffs, so at least she can still use her instead of Bennett. But onfielder buff means that if we ever get an Electro sub DPS in the future, this character might not replace Fischl due to not being able to snapshot onfield buffs...
... But at the end of the day, sparing Bennett for other team WHILE having the same or better power level as Bennett team is already a good improvement for Yoimiya team!

γYoimiya Spiral Abyss Team Usage Rate Reviewγ
EDIT: #1 Vapemelt rating, added unranked teams rating and fixed overload team rating.
I will do quick personal rating and commentary to Yoimiya's top 12 used teams this Abyss!
The team on no.13 onwards are way too dysfunctional to use in Abyss, so I won't include them
As always, I'm not forcing you to use certain comps, but team usage review is still important.
I will give the general conclusion first:
- Yoimiya players are still unaware that Yoimiya is a main DPS that needs ATK buffer (Bennett) to actually deal damage.
- Overload Yoimiya, one of her best team at base is NOT even at TOP 100
- This Abyss has a Leyline that HEAVILY enhances Yoimiya, and people are still choosing driver teams where Yoimiya's damage portion is only around 30% and BELOW. Totally reflects how badly the community sees her π
- Players pick whatever team is recommended in general instead of paying attention to Abyss lineup. Double hydro is terrible against Suanni due to its high Hydro RES, and you are wasting 75% NA DMG boost. It's the worst possible team to pick this Abyss (not to mention that forcing Hu Tao teams to Yoimiya is already bad in general)
- Bad Yoimiya team recommendations nowadays (double hydro shielder) already took over good ones... which probably involves Hu Tao's popularity among Genshin CCs. But remember that Yoimiya shares similar team to Arlecchino where she NEEDS enough ATK from Bennett, and NOT Hu Tao where she is more fitting as driver due to less Bennett dependence.
- Based on my poll yesterday, almost half of you (over 45%) discovered better Yoimiya teams from my videos. What I can take from this is that terrible Yoimiya team recommendations / terrible team choices nowadays are the main cause of why Yoimiya is seen as one if not the worst DPS in the game. This does not count the massive amount of misinformation about her over-dependence on shields, lack of optimization, gameplay factor, and more...
With that being said, let's get started!
My Ratings:
1. Yoimiya Citlali Vape
Rating: 10/10. Top pick for this abyss, counters Suanni which demands melt
2. Hu Tao Citlali 2 Hydro
Rating: 1/10 (first half), 3/10 (2nd half). Bad team for Yoimiya overall, total waste of blessing as well. Performs the worst against Suanni. Can counter 2nd half gimmicks with NS aligned damage and lots of hits, freezes Cryo lady with Citlali's Natlan gimmick but Yoimiya's Pyro app won't be enough to clear it in a reasonable time. The team comp synergy itself makes Yoimiya on par with low investment Hyperbloom comp
3. Mavuika team, skipped. Yoimiya gains nothing from this comp because she cannot melt with Citlali alone.
However, replacing Citlali with Yelan/Xingqiu can turn it into a functional Yoimiya-Mavuika vape team.
4. Hu Tao Citlali 2 Hydro
Rating: 1/10. Same as other Hu Tao teams above
5. Yoimiya Zhongli (OG) Vape
Rating: 8/10. Best for casual players, still good after 4 years of usage. Quite slow on Suanni, but you can just brute force it with 75% NA bonus.
6. Hu Tao Team... again.
Rating: 0.5/10. Worse than previous Hu Tao teams because it does not counter Suanni. Does not counter Cryo lady for 2nd half as well, with lack of Pyro app for cryo shield. Worst possible pick
7. Xilonen-Citlali Vapemelt Team
Rating: 8/10. Actually, this team is still way weaker than Bennett version. Yes, sadly he is still irreplaceable due to how the devs designed him for ATK scalers. But Suanni demanding melt elevates this team's rating. But the good part is that, this team is Yoimiya's current BEST WHALE TEAM if you own both C2~C4 Xilonen (to cover lack of ATK) and C2 Citlali. 10/10 for whales only
8. Hu Tao double Geo from v1.3, but players use Chiori this time.
Rating: 1.5/10. At least Chiori isn't resisted by Suanni, but the bar is too low.
9. Yoimiya Vapemelt (Furina version)
Rating: 5/10. I have seen people recommending this before. Please remember that Furina has inconsistent hydro application as solo hydro because her pets attack in different intervals. Yelan is THE way. If you don't believe it, check it out yourself. It can work, but the team is just so inconsistent that it's worse than Yoimiya's OG vape team.
10. Vapemelt, Xingqiu version
Rating: 7.5/10. I might be harsh towards Xingqiu, but his cooldown really holds vape Yoimiya back. Smooth rotation from Yelan's shorter cooldowns is what makes the vape team really good (also her DMG bonus for onfielder). Counters Suanni, plus points.
11. Double Geo Vape Team
Rating: 7/10. Double Geo vape isn't that good nowadays due to 2 factors: [1] Yun Jin's energy demand and [2] lack of boss gimmick coverage, such as elemental shields. Even geo shields can be countered better with overload team nowadays. But this team gains value if you need to use Bennett on the other half.
12. Xilonen-Citlali Vapemelt Team, but inconsistent vapes
Rating: 4/10. Worse than Bennett in terms of damage, worse than Yelan in terms of vape consistency
UNRANKED TEAMS RATING:
Yoimiya-Chevreuse-C6Fischl-Bennett
Rating: 10/10. Counters both halves with brute force. Best Yoimiya team without 5* constellations involved
Yoimiya-Bennett-Citlali-Ganyu/Rosaria
Rating: 8.5/10. Actually a really good pick because Yoimiya gets a huge NA boost.

Hello! I want to do a small survey about Yoimiya (since probably you're following my contents for Yoi hehe).
This is just for my information, so please answer honestly!
What do you gain after watching my Yoimiya clears?
Choose the option that fits the most. Of course if none of these options fit, you can tell me in the comments. Constructive criticism is always welcome, of course!
A. I discovered better teams for my Yoimiya and hopefully they will improve her in my account
B. I used your teams already, but your vids help me knowing how to use/optimize them
C. I only play comfort teams, but it's nice to see Yoi doing great Abyss clears!
D. I don't play Yoimiya or don't own her yet, but I'm curious how she's doing in Abyss nowadays
27 - 14
Hello guys! First of all I want to thank [Diluc] & [miyano] for lending their Yoimiya accounts before.
With their accounts, I kinda get what Yoimiya teams look like on some teams. I found Yoi-Mavuika-Fischl-Chev(C6) to be mid... but I saw a glimpse of potential in that team. Yoimiya was on Rust, with Fischl on Stringless, but Mavuika is on Kinich's sig weapon. But what if everyone is at R1 and Chev & Fischl are on C6? Someone said that Yoimiya-Mavuika vape worked (better than overload), and I saw their video. They did the run well actually... so, I can't help but get extremely curious about both of these Yoivuika teams. I want to know how far vape/melt Yoimiya can go with support weapons too.
This might be a bit selfish request, but I really want to know how Yoimiya performs on high end C0 investment.
If any of you have:
1. C0R1 Yoimiya with R1 weapons on your supports (let's say Starcaller Citlali and Elegy Yelan/Ganyu), or
2. C0R1 Yoimiya with C0R1 Mavuika, C6 Fischl and C6 Chevreuse (yeah I know this is a tough task)
I would like to play your account and showcase it on my videos. I am sorry that I can't really give you anything in return... I want to experience these high endgame teams because of the massive Pyro NA damage bonus this Abyss haha. But I understand that lending your account comes with a risk, so give it a consideration!

I never got my hopes up, but now they've done it. Why give me hope if you can't realize it, Hoyo... π

I only played the "F2P" version of overload this abyss on first day. With Chevreuse getting a rerun banner, I'm making a run with R1 version! Unexpectedly though, the difference is actually very noticable, especially when it's known that the gap between R5 Rust and Thundering Pulse is quite close.

Hello everyone, I think it's time for me to evaluate my works. Let me hear your opinions about my contents so far. Did the videos help you? Where can I improve? Are my thumbnails not good? Are my videos getting stale because Yoimiya is always paired with Bennett so the other half is always the same Bennettless teams? Do you want me to showcase my other DPSes like Navia or Kinich who need Bennett with her optimal team by cutting my Yoimiya content a bit? Anyway, I want to share some things with you.
As usual, a Yoimiya art from pixiv with the sauce: www.pixiv.net/en/artworks/121166556
Believe it or not, I used to play Yoimiya on almost all kinds of teams (even Dendro comps back in Sumeru, you can check my older videos, I had burgeon team). I always embrace you to play whatever teams you like. However, the reason why I started using mostly only optimal teams in my videos is due to how badly Yoimiya is presented nowadays, especially when most recent Yoimiya team suggestions online are all over the place (honestly looking at how people give good teams to every DPS except Yoimiya only to judge how underwhelming she is really hurts my eyes, I feel like uncle Roger being so critical towards Jamie Oliver who keeps screwing up Asian cuisine π). If the team performs badly, instead of reflecting on the team choice and gameplay, players just blame it on Yoimiya for not being known as a high tier character. Honestly, I'm glad that this motivates me to optimize Yoimiya's team and gameplay, and it ended up making me a better player, I guess!
It's quite sad to see Yoimiya players being hopeless because they believe that Yoimiya underperforms due to the same copy-paste reasons these players said (single target, unplayable w/o shields) while in reality, the players who found her underwhelming are already failing the fundamentals for ANY DPS to work (Yoimiya always having lower or lowest investment in most players' accounts due to her unpopularity to compare with their higher invested DPSes, her team choices are mostly dysfunctional and her gameplays have no optimization because no one plays her long enough to figure things out so she deals terrible damage in ST even compared to low investment hyperbloom or Slingshot Yoimiya in a proper team). I just don't want to add more misinformation to Yoimiya players out there by showing more "experimental" teams. I believe most casual Yoimiya mains out there already covered experimental and fun teams for us, so I'm leaning more towards the sweaty side. I don't want to be a metaslave, but if I am seen that way, it's okay π
In short, I want players to know the basics and try to optimize things before they get creative and draw a conclusion about a character. Just like drawing, it's good to know a basic human anatomy before you experiment with anime style drawings so you know what to do when things get wrong. It's the same with teambuilding. So it's not that it is bad or wrong to use suboptimal team, but it's good to know what kind of good teams Yoimiya has access to before you're going to use other options. For example, it's good to know that Yoimiya still wants Bennett in her overload team, and there's no Fischl replacement in this team. There are lots of reasons why these characters are irreplaceable for now (which I can't say here because it would be too long). So when you use Beidou or Yae Miko and the team performs worse, you won't blame the DPS for being weak or the support for being underwhelming for your personal team choice like players who told you how underwhelming Yoimiya is without knowing why it's the case.
Well... with that being said, let me hear your opinions about my contents so far. Please put them all in the comments!
Also if I were to make a guide, is one team per video good enough for you? Because it seems that it's way harder to cover everything at once. Thanks!

Yoimiya main, but I play other characters too. Spiral Abyss dweller.
