So why youtube? I got bitten by an insect in 2014, blessing me with chronic lyme disease. In practical day-to-day terms, my brain simply doesn't hang on to stuff for more than a few seconds. I frequently forget what I am saying mid-sentence, sometimes even what the topic is.

Video editing has become the one creative outlet I can manage, a visual timeline is fantastic for creatives with little to no short-term memory. I am not a particularly skilled editor, but there's a greater than 0% chance that I'll eventually build an audience for my work and produce something of value to the world. That's a better career prospect than literally everything else in my life.
