One of my goals here is to show that anyone can make a nice guitar for a fraction of the cost, I do this by testing out the better of the low cost brands of electric parts-
pickups- response and dynamic of the pickup set or single mostly in strats- partscasters- That I've put together myself under £200 the goal is to be well under that price.
some say it can't be done in one hand while in the other hand promote the concept that there is little to no difference in guitars ranging from £350- £6000
Well there are crap pickups, it's very easy, you can tell - they will sound the same whatever volume you set your guitar to, they have no response in dynamics in that area. you won't get dirty tone to cleaned up tone without using anything more than your guitars controls & varying degrees of pressure applied to strings?.. won't matter.
Good pickups allow you all of that. I am out to find the brands that are honest & do not rip you off while boasting about quality but only show output- kohm.
