Rob Buck is passionate about movement and sporting development. He holds qualifications as a Physiotherapist, Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist & is currently completing an MSc (Exercise Science) degree through UCT.
He is a Masters Athlete competing in sprints & Long Jump, having won many South African Champs titles and a bronze medal at World Champs.
He is a family man, with two very sporty kids, who enjoy a multi-sport environment and much love and support from "Mom & Dad". Rob believes that the number one aim of "parents in sport", should be to support their children's reasons for doing sport, which often have nothing to do with becoming the next big superstar.
"Children do sport to have fun, make new friends or get fulfillment from something they feel good at. The best thing you can do for your child is to let them hear you say: 'I love watching you'. Notice there was nothing in there about winning or results..."
