Founded in the 2007-2008 season by Metropolitan Opera Orchestra principal flutist Michael Parloff, Parlance Chamber Concerts is dedicated to bringing world-class instrumentalists and singers to Northern New Jersey in affordable, innovatively programmed concerts and educational events.
Past PCC events have featured such world-renowned artists as The Emerson String Quartet; pianists Richard Goode, Simone Dinnerstein, and Warren Jones; flutist James Galway; clarinetist Richard Stoltzman; violinist Elmar Oliveira; cellist André Díaz; and Metropolitan Opera singers soprano Danielle de Niese, mezzo-sopranos Stephanie Blythe and Kate Lindsey, tenor Matthew Polenzani, and baritones Thomas Hampson and Nathan Gunn.
