PHII is a program of the Task Force for Global Health, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that was founded as the Task Force for Child Survival in 1984. The Task Force is affiliated with Emory University.
Since 1992, the Public Health Informatics Institute (PHII) has led the charge in establishing informatics as a recognized discipline critical to the field of public health. Our mission is to transform health practitionersâ ability to use information effectively. We support public health organizations in the U.S. and around the world. We are a strategic partner with major industry associations, foundations and government agencies. Our staff are professionals with expertise in public health, information systems, business analysis, training, project management and communications.
