My VHS/AV capture setup: I use a JVC HR-S29U S-VHS VCR hooked up to a Panasonic DMR-ES15 DVD Recorder (to stabilize the footage) via S-Video, and the footage is digitized with VirtualDub2 and an I-O Data GV-USB2 (also connected via S-Video).
