The ANCHOR – Reeperbahn Festival International Music Award is setting a new international standard for promising up-and-coming talents, initiated by the renowned Reeperbahn Festival in Hamburg, Germany. The ANCHOR is awarded every year as a guide for fans and the music industry who are in search of the best new music and functions as a jump start for the participating artists' international music careers. The nominees from all around the world perform in front of an internationally renowned jury of music experts at the Reeperbahn Festival. They all have the same goal: to be presented with the ANCHOR at the award show and to start on their ascent to international stardom.
