بدأت "الهيئة السعودية للبحر الأحمر" رحلتها في 2021م لبناء وتنظيم السياحة الساحلية في البحر الأحمر وتعزيز التكامل بين الجهات المعنية، من خلال إصدار التراخيص والتصاريح، ووضع السياسات والاستراتيجيات، والخطط اللازمة، إضافةً إلى تعزيز متطلبات البنية التحتية واحتياجاتها، وحماية البيئة البحرية، وتشجيع المشاريع الصغيرة والمتوسطة والترويج للأنشطة الملاحية والبحرية السياحية بما يسهم في تقديم قيمة مضافة للاقتصاد الوطني.
Saudi Red Sea Authority (SRSA) began its journey towards building and regulating the coastal tourism sector in 2021, with the objective of enhancing integration between the relevant entities by issuing licenses and permits, developing the necessary policies and strategies, determining infrastructure requirements, preserving the marine environment, enabling SMEs, and promoting navigational and marine tourism activities, which will reflect as an added value to the national economy
