This channel is dedicated to the Amazing Kevin. We think he deserves some recognition not only for his clever tiny brain but for the amazing benefit he has been for my mental and physical health. 5 years ago I was a very active mum running her own business. In the blink of an eye I lost my mobility down my left side due to a spine condition. Before yet another lockdown in 2021 I decided to get a budgie from an aviary to tame down. I chose Kevin. At this point just standing for a few minutes was difficult. The desire to tame Kevin gave me a positive distraction from my shaking weak body. Kevin won't ever know how his captivating personality pushed me through the tough days, how he slowly helped me gain strength. Kevin won't know that teaching him to talk really engaged my autistic sons when they were having bad days and struggling to talk to me.
Our family is so blessed to have him. He makes us all laugh daily with what and when he talks.
