I am the mother of Noah Green, who allegedly intentionally hit 2 US Capitol Police Officers with his car on 4/2/21, sadly killing Officer Billy Evans & injuring Officer Ken Shaver. He was shot & killed after allegedly getting out of his car with a knife & lunging at another officer.

Noah fervently sought treatment for what we now know was Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy or CTE. He suffered 2 known traumatic brain injuries or TBIs, including a concussion & skull fracture as a high school soccer goalkeeper. I believe other TBIs were undiagnosed in soccer, & high school & college football.

Parents, guardians & student athletes need to be fully informed about RHI (repetitive head impacts) & CTE before signing concussion forms. It causes anxiety, depression, insomnia, changes in personality, suicidal thinking, dementia, etc & we are not being told.

The National Federation of State High School Associations or NFHS must tell parents. No excuses.
