Play Africa equips and empowers children and families for the future through play, creativity, innovation and connection.

Play Africa is the first interactive children’s museum in Southern Africa. We bring 21st century learning to children through our programmes, parent support and educator training. We inspire children to get excited about science, technology, engineering, maths (STEM) and the arts. Through playful learning, we equip children with the skills they need to succeed in the future. We are based at Constitution Hill in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Through holistic playful learning programmes, we create unparalleled experiences for children. Play Africa’s unique programmes help build children’s awareness of their rights, including their right to play. We offer opportunities for children to engage with concepts such as empathy, ubuntu, human dignity, democracy, negotiation and justice.
