Welcome to the official YouTube channel for Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet (CPYB).
Established in 1955 by Founding Artistic Director Marcia Dale Weary, CPYB is a nationally and internationally recognized school of classical ballet headquartered in Carlisle, Pa. Miss Weary is celebrated by critics and peers alike as one of the nation's foremost instructors of classical ballet. While the school's academic programs are designed with the serious ballet student in mind, CPYB attracts students of all ages, with varying degrees of interest and talent, who wish to pursue dance instruction in an inspiring, enriched learning environment. Hundreds of CPYB students have gone on to professional careers in companies throughout the world. Currently, more than eighty alumni are dancing in companies including American Ballet Theatre, Pennsylvania Ballet, Boston Ballet, San Francisco Ballet, English National Ballet, Hamburg Ballet, and New York City Ballet.
