A native of China, Jennifer Zhou began her flute studies at age six. She has appeared as a soloist with the Cleveland Orchestra, "The President's Own" Marine Band, Eastman School Symphony Orchestra, and Cleveland Orchestra Youth Orchestra. Jennifer made her Carnegie Hall debut in 2010. She was a member of the 2011 YouTube Symphony Orchestra and has subbed with New World Symphony since 2010. Jennifer was the only U.S. representative of six finalists in the 18th Jeunesses International Flute Competition held in Bucharest, Romania. She has participated in music festivals including Zermatt Festival Academy, Music Academy of the West, Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival, Youth Orchestra of the Americas, and Aspen Festival. Jennifer is currently pursuing a Bachelor Degree in Flute Performance and Arts Leadership Certificate with Bonita Boyd and Anne Harrow as a Lois S. Rogers Scholar at the Eastman School of Music.
