It is with deep sorrow that we share the news that our beloved and popular artist, lyricist, and composer of the Mishing community, Hiyar Amathu Lekhan Kumbang, is suffering from kidney failure. This tragic news has deeply saddened us, the people of Assam, and the Mising community also.
As per the latest information, he is set to be admitted to KMCH Hospital in Tamil Nadu. The most distressing part is that a kidney transplant is urgently required, which will cost several lakhs of rupees. Due to financial difficulties, the operation cannot be initiated yet.
