Adam ‘mawz’ Maas is an Engineer, IT Geek and lifelong modeller from an Aviation family. Having returned to RC in 2015, he is an active RC soaring pilot and competitor, competing in traditional line-launch and DLG disciplines. He is also an active balsa builder and all-round fan of traditional designs and glow power. His primary interests on the power side are Classic Pattern, classic RC sport and Scale GA aircraft in the traditional .40-.60 sized range (1.3m-2m span).
Well known online under his pseudonym ‘mawz’, Adam is also an expert on radio programming, with a focus on FrSky radios and the ETHOS operating system for which he is a beta tester. He also uses EdgeTX, OpenTX and Spektrum Airware regularly on a variety of radios.
Adam is also a current MAAC Zone Director for ZOne L Southeast Ontario
