It’s been a while since I’ve written here—happy 2025 to you all! 🎉
Recently, someone left an interesting comment on one of my videos suggesting I should "get rid of the music." When I asked if the music was too loud, they replied:
"Yes, but don’t just turn it down, turn it off.
You have a charming French accent, but for English speakers, it can be hard to understand with unrelated and unnecessary music in the background.
Have confidence in what you are saying. It does not need music to make it interesting."
This feedback got me thinking. For most of my videos, the message I share is my priority, but I’d love to hear your thoughts on background music.
Your opinion means a lot—thank you for helping me improve!

THANKS !
Thank you for being there, more and more of you, watching these videos that still have so much room for improvement!
Knowing that you are there, behind your screens, is what motivates me to persevere and to make sure, week after week, to try to bring you the tip, the information that perhaps will help you get a best Parisian experience!
Thank you...

The Seine River is experiencing flooding, with its peak normally occurring today.
As a result, the banks of the Seine are closed, and sightseeing boats cannot operate.
The first picture was captured from the Eiffel Tower's first floor, while the second was taken from the platform in front of the Tower. Fortunately, the Statue of Liberty is not submerged, and she will not be getting a bath this week!

After several weeks of rain, the Seine begins to overflow in Paris.
But normally, it shouldn't go much higher than today...

Bonjour my friends!
Saturday, I'll have the chance to eat at Madame Brasserie, on the first floor of the Eiffel Tower. Of course, I'll make a video about that.
But I'm interested to know what you think of this. Would you be interested in eating on the Eiffel Tower, either at the Brasserie on the 1st floor or at the 2-Michelin star restaurant, the Jules Verne, on the 2nd Floor?
Please comment!

It's still January, so, please forgive my delay, but I wish you all a wonderful 2024!
And for those whose dream is to visit Paris this year, for the Olympic Games... or despite the Olympic Games, may your wishes come true!
Next week, Paris Top Tips will celebrate its one year anniversary, and even before this date, your permanent support and, I hope, the pleasure you had watching my videos have meant that, during the month of December, I reached (in less than a year, therefore) 10,000 subscribers and 1 million views.
A very big thank you for your loyalty!
So, for the months to come, I'm offering you a little survey on the videos you would love to see soon. Don't hesitate to ask for something that is not on the list.

Hi!
Today, I will have a very simple question for you as I'm preparing a new video about the number of days travelers spend in Paris.
So, when you came to Paris last, or for your forthcoming trip to Paris, how many days did you / will you spend in the City of Light?
And if your answer is not one of the 5 options YouTube allows me to put in the poll, just use the comment scetion to tell me!

I'm a Parisian, and I've been living in Paris for 35 years now. And my objective with this channel is to help you visiting Paris better.
On “Paris Top Tips”, every week, you will find a video that aims to help you in your discovery of Paris.
Not a set of sightseeing videos on the beauties of Paris, but a practical video guide on the best way to approach a visit to the city, from all points of view: how to get around on public transport, what are the best neighborhoods to stay , a selection of the best hotels, restaurants, places to visit, etc...
This channel will be resolutely interactive, and if you want me to address a specific subject, the comments section of the videos, and also the community tab will allow you to ask me for a video on the subject.
