Welcome in the name of the Most High JAH... Rastafari. Jah Yoots Sound, Founded in 1974. A group of young boys from John Kelly Boys High school in Neasden NW London put together what was then the first YOUTH lead YOUTH driven sound system called Mighty Youths (name given by our peers & elders) With just a 100 watts valve amp, two speaker and little more than pocket money the sound evolved and by the mid 70s ESTABLISHED itself as Jah Yoots Sound playing at events with Coxsone Sound, Sufferer Sound, Lord Koos, Trojan Sound, Paddindton Terror, Java, just to name a few. Spreading upliftment of Mind Body Spirit with positive energy that Sound Systems delivers from Town Halls, Youth Ctres, Dance Halls to Blues Party.
Amongst Jah Yoots Sound first residence for events the Stonebridge Annex and Hilltop Club Stonebridge, Kingfishers Youth Club Neasden, Acorn Club Willesden, The Crypt Paddington, Roots 18 Club Harrow Rd Paddington, Clouds Club Brixton, Hilltop High Wycombe.
