Hello and welcome to the place where photography goes right off the rails. My name is Peter Lewis and I've been making my living (more or less, quite often less) with a camera for the last 35 years. I started out as an adventure sports photographer, hanging off cliffs shooting rock and ice climbing, dabbled in newspaper photojournalism for several years, then freelanced for magazines, and finally spent 20 years as the photographer and graphic designer for a small medical school. Covid-19 killed that career off, so, with plenty of gas left in the tank, I started QuirkWorks Studio in 2020, a freelance photography business focusing on high-end product, lifestyle, and bizarre composite work. I won't bore you with the straightforward stuff here, but if you want to jump into the studio with a 60-something guy with more energy and enthusiasm than a puppy with a full bladder, and whose imagination sometimes ever frightens his own dear wife, then this is the place for you.
