Strikkland is a Swedish EBM duo based in Gothenburg. The band was formed in 2015 by long time friends Henric Ceder (music and programming) and Henrik Johansson (vocals and lyrics). Their music is best described as EBM (Electronic Body Music) or Aggrepo (Aggressive Pop) eventhough they try to avoid the repetetiveness of classic Old School/Anhalt EBM.
London based online magazine Cold War Night Life (coldwarnightlife.com) described their debut EP A Gift of Solitude as "four tracks that escape the rigid confines of the genre while celebrating it's muscularity" and that sums up Strikkland's sound pretty well.
