In the Kigoma region of Tanzania there are over 30,000 smallholder farmers who derive the majority of their income from cultivating oil palm trees and extracting and selling palm oil. Despite cultivating a very lucrative crop, the vast majority of farmers and their families live in poverty and rely on agriculture to carve out a subsistence living.
Seed Change collaborates with local government, other NGOs, and the private sector to achieve our goal of lifting these farmers out of poverty.
We are committed to farmers and their families, it starts and ends with them.
