Rav Daniel is the rabbi of a village in the Judean Mountains of Israel, married to Batya for close to forty years, father of seven and grandfather to many. Over the past 30 years, as a Rabbi, Rosh Yeshiva and spiritual guide, he has taught thousands of students, uniquely combining the world of Torah learning, Jewish mysticism and deep psychological insight, and has culled and developed effective techniques for personal and spiritual renewal.Deeply rooted in Talmud and Halacha, Rav Daniel also draws his innovative insights from his profound knowledge of Maharal, Kabbala, Chassidut and Rav Kook.
In addition to his work as community Rabbi, Rav Daniel lectures and conducts long and short term seminars and retreats focused on personal and spiritual growth for Rabbis, academic staffs and private groups.
Rav Daniel is also a professional composer and talented clarinet player whose albums and performances are a unique genre of spiritual music, meditation and Torah teaching.
