Welcome to Chocolate City Homeschool Life, a vlog about homeschooling in DC, also affectionately known as Chocolate City. This channel is all about homeschooling as a lifestyle and mindset, with a focus on African (American) males. Our homeschool journey has been about finding our gifts, learning about our culture, and giving back to our people. My oldest son is a homeschool graduate (2019), a full-time college student (music major), and hip hop artist (follow him on IG @zionthegreatt). He never attended traditional public, private or charter schools. Our channel will also feature the Sankofa Homeschool Community and my travels, particularly to Ghana.
