Hello, fellow reader. I'm Rachel, a writer, reader, and grown-up kid with dyslexia.
Despite this quirk of language processing, I endeavor to become a better writer by reading more books (she said while dabbing sweat from her brow).
Each week I'll talk about a book I've just finished. I won't critique the writing, but you will hear my thoughts on what made it a joy or a giant headache to read.
I have two goals for this channel:
1. Provide my fellow dyslexics with book recommendations. I'll share some things they can watch out for when choosing books for their reading pleasure.
2.Offer insight to my fellow writers from the perspective of a person with dyslexia. Hopefully, a better understanding of neurodiversity will make you a better writer too.
