Climate CoLab is a project of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Center for Collective Intelligence. It is a global, on-line forum where people can work together to create, help develop, and vote for detailed proposals on what to do about climate change, as part of a series of annual contests.
The goal of Climate CoLab is to harness the collective intelligence of thousands of people from all around the world to address global climate change.
Inspired by systems like Wikipedia and Linux, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Center for Collective Intelligence has developed this on-line forum where citizens create, analyze, and select detailed proposals for what to do about climate change, and submit them in annual contests.
