Essex County Habitat for Humanity is part of a global nonprofit housing ministry that works in partnership with people in need to build or renovate simple decent homes. Habitat for Humanity is founded on the conviction that everyone should have a safe and decent place to live. Our programs bring people together – both at the community level and in the broader society (government, civic organizations, the general public, etc.) to build homes to be owned by families in the 38 communities we serve in Essex County.
