This is a mad man's bumpy journey from hardcore drug addiction towards non-addiction
So the addiction part is deeper than I first anticipated, and apparently nutrition, physical exercise and meditation are all key constituents
To meditate I intend on keeping my attention on something fx breath, I follow the physical sensations in stomach or nose as closely as I can. When I notice I have forgotten to do this, I thank myself for noticing, relax and gently bring attention back to the breath
When it can stay here without any effort I shift attention to some nice physical sensation and let it stay there doing nothing else, this is the part where the trippy shit comes in
The other kind of meditation I try to do "everywhere all the time" and that's just noting how what I am experiencing feels. The content of what is being followed is irrelevant, it's the actual sensations and how they change, I follow them as closely as I can, sometimes updating several times a second
Every now has its I
