A one-man production machine start-to-finish for much of this work because TBS gave me total freedom to work alone and "do whatever I wanted to". Though much was done alone, some of my best work was done with the suberb artists at CNN and TVbD's Melanie Goux, all of whom had a natural artistic instinct that I lacked. But I knew since age 9 what looked good on tv and what didn't. This was my "design skill", eliminating the ugly. Much was created through experimentation and ideas based on the gear's technical capabilities, waiting for luck to present beautiful things to pursue. My pioneering 3D work using math with Ampex's ADO yielded work Ampex thought impossible, and I was a constant consultant for them.

I was so very lucky and given total freedom to exercise my best judgment, to produce whatever I considered most important to improve the on-air look of TBS, TBS Promotion, CNN's opens and TBS Sports, responsible only to myself for the ideas, quality and projects I chose to do.
