We're creating our off grid homestead on 3 hectares of abandoned land in Central Portugal. You're invited to join us as we discover our magic formula for sustainable living, menu planning, recipes, cooking, natural building, growing food and frugal living in abundance.
We are Paul and Nina living with our three children, Tiggy, Artemis and Apollo. We also share our life with Mochi the dog, Izwald the cat and George the Sulcata tortoise.
We moved onto our land in 2021, leaving our 3 bedroom semi detached suburban life in the UK. It is our dream to create a good life in nature that nurtures our mind, body and soul with respect for the Earth.
Being new to off grid rural life, we are very much learning as we go. We are sharing our successes and learning curves along with frugal living. We hope it will inspire you to follow your dreams, whatever they may be.
